1st Wing Cubs and friends raised a big smile for Comic relief on Thursday the 12th March.
Great fun was had by all, with a massive turnout from friends and families of the group.
The Cubs prepared the games including hook a fish, a human 'red nose' fruit-machine, a ping pong and darts challenge, the buzzer game, a Nerf gun shooting alley, not forgetting the cream cracker, messy marshmallows and flour & jelly challenges!!
Tracy O'Hanlon one of our cub leaders said, " It was an absolute amazing night - the kids really got into it & ran all the stalls!"
Thanks to all the support from the friends and families who turned up to support the fundraising effort, but also to the Cub leaders for pulling the whole thing together.
Wing village in Buckinghamshire - a great place to do our scouting. We've got plenty of places to get out and get muddy with miles of walks, both local and national close by.
Woodland spinneys, rolling fields and lots of history - from the Saxon period through to the Second World War.
We have over 70 young people in the three sections, that's an important part of our community.
If you're new to the village, the scout group is a good place to get involved in something that really does make a difference to young lives, building confidence and self esteem. We do this by learning through adventure and fun.
Too many children grow up without experiencing real challenge and adventure.
Together we can all make a difference through Scouting. If you'd like to be a part of it, click on the 'join us' button on this page.
